All orders are processed within 14 days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Shipping Rates and Estimates
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. These rates are based on Canadian shipping costs.
International Shipping: Should you be ordering from outside of Canada there may be shipping surcharges. We will contact you via email at time of processing to provide details of any additional costs and give you the option to cancel your order at that time.
In-store Pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 5 to 10 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Should you place your order outside our normal operating season (June to September) we will be in touch with you via email to arrange a pick-up time.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number (if applicable) you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
Return Policy
The Lunenburg Heritage Society appreciates your support through the purchase of our gift shop items and memberships. These purchases support the ongoing work of the Society, including the operation, maintenance, and renewal of the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum. As such, we do not offer returns or exchanges of your purchase online or in person.
In the event that your order arrives damaged or is defective, please email us as soon as possible at KnautRhulandHouse@lunenburgheritagesociety.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
